Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

About Database Management:

As a Database Administrator, you can use the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Database Management service to monitor and manage your Oracle Databases.

Database Management currently supports the following Oracle Databases:

External Databases: Oracle Databases located outside of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and connected to a resource in the External Database service.

Oracle Cloud Databases: Oracle Databases running on the following Co-managed Oracle Database Cloud solutions:

Bare Metal and Virtual Machine DB Systems are single-node database systems on either bare metal or virtual machines, and 2-node Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) database systems on virtual machines.

Exadata Cloud Service is an Oracle Database cloud platform, which enables you to run Oracle Database workloads in the cloud and leverage the power of Exadata in the cloud.

Autonomous Databases: Easy-to-use, fully managed, pre-configured database environments, provisioned on a Shared or Dedicated Exadata Infrastructure.

You’re Opportunity: We are addressing exciting challenges and enhancement requests for 100’s of existing Database Management service. We are focusing on stabilizing and improving existing customer experience why we work on lot of modernization with newer cloud technologies. We use lot of new exciting tools in QA development team to optimize and improve the efficiency of the weekly/monthly release cycles.

What You’ll Do:

Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools

As a member of functional testing team, the primary responsibilities would be to Understand the product requirements and work with development team and product managers to validate the requirements, Creating high quality test plans, test cases and ensuing complete automation and enable them on CI pipeline. Good experience in Scrum & Agile development.
