Analyst, Quality Assurance

About the Role:

We are seeking an Analyst, Quality Assurance to join our team at Independent Living Systems (ILS). ILS, along with its affiliated health plans known as Florida Community Care and Florida Complete Care, is committed to promoting a higher quality of life and maximizing independence for all vulnerable populations. As an Analyst, Quality Assurance you will play a critical role ensuring that health care services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position involves analyzing data and processes to identify areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance service delivery. The analyst will collaborate with various departments to develop and maintain quality assurance protocols that align with industry regulations and best practices. By conducting thorough audits and assessments, the analyst will provide actionable insights that drive continuous improvement in patient care. Ultimately, this role contributes to the overall mission of delivering safe, effective, and high-quality health care services to the community.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance or a similar role within the health care industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Quality Assurance or a related field (e.g., CPHQ, CQIA).
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and data analysis software.
• Knowledge of health care regulations and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular audits of health care services to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Analyze data related to patient outcomes and service delivery to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on quality assurance findings and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure the organization remains compliant and competitive.
